| Solubility | · Soluble in ethanol, methanol, acetone and other organic solvents.
· Dispersible in hot water; insoluble in cold water. · Solubility varies with different HLB values. Higher HLB grades show better water dispersibility. |
Application
- Food industry: emulsifier, antistaling agent, foam stabilizer for bakery, ice cream, drinks
- Cosmetics & personal care: mild emulsifier, thickener for creams, lotions
- Agriculture pesticides: spreader, penetrant to boost drug absorption on crops
- Pharmaceuticals: solubilizer for oral preparations.
Features
- Non-ionic surfactant with excellent emulsifying ability for both oil-in-water and water-in-oil systems.
- Good biodegradability and low toxicity, safe for food and agricultural use.
- Adjustable HLB value to meet different mixing demands.
- Compatible with most other surfactants and additives.
- Fine dispersing, permeating and spreading performance.
Packaging
25kg/drum; 25kg/bag
Storage
Original packaging: 25kg of kraft paper composite PE inner bag / plastic barrel, keeping the inner bag sealed throughout the process
After opening: Immediately seal the opening of the inner bag and cover the barrel lid after each use to isolate air and moisture; if not sealed for a long time, alpha-d-Glucopyranoside, beta-d-fructofuranosyl, octadecanoate will absorb moisture, oxidize and develop a rancid smell
For liquids / waxy sucrose esters, additional sealing is required to prevent the contact of the oil with air and oxidation and spoilage.
