Octadecyl acrylate appears as a clear liquid. Octadecyl acrylate was synthesized using microwave synthesis technology using octadecanol and acrylic acid as raw materials, p-toluenesulfonic acid as catalyst, and hydroquinone as an inhibitor. Octadecyl acrylate has good flexibility, water resistance, weather resistance, low volatility, and low shrinkage.

1.Mainly used as leveling agent for coatings, coatings, paints, isolating agents, oil pour point depressants, and various adhesives.

2.Can be used as a pour point depressant for crude oil, fabric finishing agent, leather additive, plasticizer, and oil absorbing resin.

3.Used as an active diluent and crosslinking agent in radiation curing systems, and can also be used as a resin crosslinking agent, plastic and rubber modifier.
