Application
1. Industrial raw materials: Approximately 45% are used for synthesizing unsaturated polyester resins, and also for polyurethanes, paints, and inks.
2. Anti-freezing and heat transfer: Low-toxicity antifreeze solutions, heat carriers, replacing part of ethylene glycol.
3. Food additives: Propylene Glycol used as moisturizers, emulsifiers, solvents, and applied in baking, ice cream, and powdered foods.
4. Pharmaceutical and personal care products: Drug solvents, transdermal promoters; cosmetics for moisturizing, dissolving fragrances and active ingredients.
