What is D-Camphorsulfonic Acid?
D-camphor sulfonic acid is an important chiral isomer drug enantiomer. The right-handed isomer can be obtained from natural camphor through bromination and sulfonation, or from racemic camphor sulfonic acid through induced crystallization and separation. D-camphor sulfonic acid is a white crystalline or crystalline powder, insoluble in ether, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid and ethyl acetate, and easily deliquescent in humid air
