What is 1,4-Dihydroxyanthraquinone ?

Those that precipitate from acetic acid are orange crystals. Appropriate amount of it dissolves in ethanol and turns red, dissolves in ether and turns brown and yellow fluorescence, dissolves in caustic alkali and ammonia and turns purple. Using phthalic anhydride and p-chlorophenol as raw materials, the two are condensed, ring closed, and hydrolyzed to obtain the product. After filtering, drying and crushing, the finished product is obtained. Phthalic anhydride and hydroquinone can also be used as raw materials, and the product can be obtained through condensation and ring closure. After filtering, drying and crushing, the finished product is obtained.
