CAS 83271-10-7 (Dextrin Palmitate, also known as Rheopearl KL2) is a non-ionic polysaccharide-based high-molecular-weight surfactant obtained by esterifying dextrin with palmitic acid. It is mainly used for thickening oils in cosmetics and skin care products, as well as for stabilizing W/O emulsions and forming films.
