What is Citronella Oil?
Lemongrass oil, also known as citronella oil or fragrant grass oil, is an essential oil extracted from lemongrass or citronella plants through steam distillation. It is a clear, pale yellow to light brown, flowable liquid with a distinctive aroma, similar to that of citronellal. It is insoluble in glycerin and propylene glycol, but soluble in most volatile oils, mineral oils, and ethanol.
