What is Manganese Carbonate?
Manganese Carbonate is rosy triangle crystal or amorphous brown powder, relative density 3.125. almost insoluble in water, but slightly soluble in water containing C02. Soluble in dilute inorganic acid, slightly soluble in common organic salt, insoluble in liquid ammonia. Stable in dry air, wet easily oxidized to form manganese oxide gradually becomes black, heated hours of the liberation of the C02, when water is azeotropic hydrolysis. The boiling potassium hydroxide, the formation of manganese hydroxide.

Application
Manganese Carbonate is used as a raw material for the manufacture of soft magnetic ferrites for telecommunications equipment, for the synthesis of manganese dioxide and for the manufacture of other manganese salts, as an oxidant for desulphurization, as a pigment for enamels, paints and varnishes, and as a fertilizer and feed additive. Manganese Carbonate is also used in welding electrode auxiliary material, etc., and can be used as raw material for producing point solution of manganese metal.
