NMP(N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone) is a polar solvent with excellent properties. Because of its very high solubility, high boiling point and low freezing point, it is easy to use and has a wide range of applications. Application
N-Methyll-2-pyrrolidone is an excellent extraction solvent widely used as an extractant in processes such as aromatic hydrocarbon extraction, acetylene concentration, butadiene separation, and desulfurization of synthesis gas. It is also a solvent in the production of pesticides, engineering plastics, coatings, synthetic fibers, integrated circuits, and can be used as an industrial detergent, dispersant, dye, lubricant antifreeze, etc.
