Zinc undecylenate Usage
1. This product is an anti-fungal medicine, made into an athlete’s foot ointment, which can be used for skin mycosis.
2. Used in cosmetics and organic synthesis intermediates. It is added as a preservative, bactericide and emulsifier to creams, lotions, shampoos and soaps. It is a common ingredient in anti-dandruff shampoos, with a concentration of 0.5% – 2%, which inhibits Malassezia fungi to reduce dandruff. The addition amount in daily skin care products is generally 0.2% – 1%.
