What Is Trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate ?
Trimethylolpropane triacrylate is a typical trifunctional monomer with higher viscosity than monofunctional and bifunctional monomers. However, compared to multifunctional monomers, it has lower viscosity and good solubility. This monomer can provide high curing speed and high crosslinking density, forming a curing film with excellent solvent resistance, hard scratch resistance, and brittleness. Its price is relatively low, and although it has some irritation to the skin, it is still the most commonly used multifunctional monomer.

Application
1.Trimethylolpropane triacrylate can be used as a crosslinking aid for peroxide crosslinking, suitable for blending of cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber, ethylene propylene diene monomer, ethylene propylene diene monomer, isoprene rubber, butyl and nitrile rubber.
2.Vulcanizing agent: When using peroxide for vulcanization of synthetic rubber, TMPTMA can improve corrosion resistance, aging resistance, and hardness. Heat resistance: TMPTMA has a plasticizing effect during mixing, and its original hardening effect during vulcanization can be used for NBR, DM, and acrylic rubber.
3.Crosslinking agent: TMPTMA can reduce radiation dose, shorten radiation time, improve cross-linking density, and has characteristics such as low precision, high cross-linking degree, low steam pressure, and fast curing speed. Can be used for photocuring inks and photopolymer materials.
