    Tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium sulfate CAS 55566-30-8 is widely used in industries such as water treatment, oil fields, and papermaking. Because its main advantage is the rapid degradation into completely harmless substances after use, greatly reducing the impact of such industries on the environment.

    Oilfield reinjection water: Kills sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) and saprophytic bacteria, inhibits hydrogen sulfide formation, removes biofilms, dissolves ferrous sulfide scale, protects pipelines, and is a classic bactericide in the oil industry.

    Industrial circulating cooling water:  paper white water: Kills bacteria and algae, inhibits biological sludge; low foam, does not interfere with system heat exchange and filtration.

    Aquaculture: Raw material for bottom modification products, reduces ammonia nitrogen, eliminates odor, improves the bottom quality, and inhibits harmful bacteria in the bottom layer (note: does not kill cyanobacteria).

    Textile flame retardant: Permanent flame retardant for cotton and polyester fabrics, THPS + urea system, used for curtains, workwear, and fire-resistant fabrics, does not significantly affect fabric feel and dyeing.
