SOLVENT YELLOW 93 with CAS 4702-90-3
Solvent Yellow 93 green light yellow powder. Insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, chloroform, acetone, etc. Transparent Yellow 3G is used for coloring polyester fibers and also for manufacturing polyester masterbatch.

Q: How is the solubility?
A: SOLVENT YELLOW 93 is insoluble in water; it is easily soluble in organic solvents such as acetone, ethanol, chloroform, esters, and aromatic hydrocarbons; it has good solubility in plastic melt systems, and can achieve high transparency and bright yellow color.
Q: What is the recommended addition amount?
A: Plastic / color masterbatch formula: 0.01–0.3%, with high coloring power, adding a small amount can achieve vivid and transparent yellow light.
Q: What is the upper limit of processing temperature, and will it decompose and fade?
A: The heat resistance can reach 280–300℃. It is suitable for high engineering plastics such as PET and PC for high-temperature extrusion, injection molding, and drawing processing. It is not prone to decomposition or discoloration at high temperatures and has stable color and light.
Q: How about the migration resistance?
A: Excellent migration resistance. After plastic molding, it is not easy to bleed color or migrate to the contact surface. It is suitable for multi-layer composite and food-contact grade plastics (requires separate certification).
Q: What is the storage stability?
A: Stable at room temperature in a sealed and dry environment; in long-term high-temperature and high-humidity conditions, the powder is prone to caking. The caking does not affect the coloring performance and can be dispersed for use. Shelf life: 24 months when sealed.
