There is also a white or almost white crystalline powder with a purity of 98%. Sodium mercaptoacetate is an important flotation inhibitor. Used as an inhibitor for copper minerals and pyrite in copper molybdenum ore flotation, Sodium mercaptoacetate has a significant inhibitory effect on minerals such as copper and sulfur, and can effectively improve the grade of molybdenum concentrate. Sodium mercaptoacetate can also be used as a hair removal agent.
