Proteinase K CAS 39450-01-6 is a kind of subtilisin protease with high activity, which is used for general degradation of protein in biological samples. Proteinase K can be used for the digestion of various proteins, including preparation of chromosomal DNA for pulse electrophoresis, western blotting, and removal of nucleases in DNA and RNA preparations.
