Application
1. Epoxy resin curing agent / curing accelerator (core application)
Delayed-type imidazole curing agent, used in electronic potting compounds, epoxy composite materials, and anti-corrosion coatings; stable at room temperature, rapidly cures upon heating, resistant to humidity and heat, and enhances bonding strength.
2. Polyurethane catalyst
N-(3-Aminopropyl)-imidazole low-volatile selective catalyst, used for automotive soft polyurethane foams, to regulate the balance between foaming and gelation.
3. Polymer synthesis monomer
Grafting imidazole groups to prepare pH-responsive polymers, dispersants, and additives, improving the dispersion performance of polymers.
4. Pharmaceutical intermediate
N-(3-Aminopropyl)-imidazole used for synthesizing drug molecules with imidazole rings.
5. Lubricant additive raw material
Preparation of viscosity index improvers and metal surface passivation additives.
✨ Product Features
1. The dual-functional group structure (amino group + imidazole ring) combines the catalytic activity of the imidazole ring and the reactivity of primary amines. It is a multifunctional epoxy curing accelerator with high reactivity and the ability to participate in crosslinking simultaneously.
2. Latent curing property, with a long shelf life at room temperature and rapid curing upon heating; it does not crystallize easily at low temperatures, and will not solidify during winter storage. Compared with ordinary imidazole curing agents, it has obvious advantages. Shanghai Haodeng Materials.
3. Low volatility. During the high-temperature curing process, the amount of volatile substances is minimal, reducing VOC and suitable for automotive, electronic, and composite material systems.
4. Enhances resin adhesion. The imidazole group can increase the bonding strength of the resin to the metal substrate, suitable for metal anti-corrosion coatings.
Packaging and Storage
Regular export bulk goods: 200L epoxy phenolic steel drums with inner coating.
Storage environment: Cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse; storage temperature 5~30℃, keep away from heat sources, steam pipes, and direct sunlight. High temperature will accelerate oxidation and color change.
Sealed storage: The container must be completely sealed. Exposure to oxygen will gradually oxidize, and the color will deepen from light yellow.
FAQ
Q: How long is the shelf life?
A: Original packaging, store in a cool and dark place: 36 months; Once the lid is opened and exposed to air, the color will gradually darken. It is recommended to use it within 3 months.
Q: What are the storage conditions?
A: In a cool and dry warehouse with a temperature range of 5 to 30℃; Store in a dark and sealed manner; Do not mix with strong acids or strong oxidants.
Q: Will it crystallize in low temperatures in winter?
A: It won’t crystallize. This is a significant advantage compared to other imidazole curing agents. It has good fluidity at low temperatures.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity?
A: Standard order quantity is 200kg; samples can be arranged.
