2,2-Bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic Acid,also known as DMPA.2,2-Bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic Acid is a versatile and hindered diol molecule with both hydroxyl and carboxyl groups. The free acid group can positively improve the water solubility or dispersion of the resin after neutralization with the base. Group, improve the adhesion of the coating and the dyeing properties of the synthetic fiber; increase the alkali solubility of the coating. 2,2-Bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic Acid can be applied to water-soluble polyurethane systems, water-soluble alkyd resins and polyester resins, epoxy ester coatings, polyurethane elastomers and powder coatings.
Application
2,2-Bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic Acid,also known as DMPA.2,2-Bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic Acid can be applied to leather materials, liquid crystals, inks, food additives and adhesive chemicals, especially in the manufacture of water-based polyurethane and leather finishing agents. 2,2-Bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic Acid is both a chain extender and a good polyurethane.Self-emulsification performance, can greatly improve the stability of polyurethane water emulsion, and thus is widely use.Used as addictive in modifying polyester resin; the raw material of making photosensitive resin and liquid crystal; epoxy ester coatings, PU elastomers and powder coating; used in producing magnetic materials and adhesives to make recording tape, video tape, computer tape, data recording tape and magnetic card, etc.
