Application
Dimethyl phthalate is a plasticizer with strong solubility in a variety of resins and is compatible with cellulose, rubber, and vinyl resins. It is usually used in combination with diethyl phthalate in the production of cellulose acetate films, varnishes, transparent papers and molding powders.
