1,3-Dioxolane CAS 646-06-0 is a colorless transparent liquid. It is miscible with water and soluble in alcohol, ether and benzene. The azeotrope formed with water has a boiling point of 70-73 ℃ and water content of 6.7%. It can decolorize bromine water. This product is the second monomer of co-formaldehyde, also used as a solvent, and is also a silk finishing agent and sealing adhesive.
