What is Betulinic acid?
Betulinic acid (BA),also known as betulinic acid,is a natural lupine pentacyclic triterpene compound.Betulinic acid is a white crystalline powder with slight gas and bitter taste.Betulinic acid was first found in the bark of Rhamnaceae evergreen plants growing in eastern Africa in the 1990s.Betulinic acid has several biological sources, which can be extracted from the leaves of cattail, the bark of Betula platyphylla and the kernel of wild jujube;Betulin can also be obtained by chemical synthesis with betulin as raw material.
