What is Alpha-L-Rhamnose？
Rhamnose, also known as 6-deoxy-L-mannose, is an organic compound with the molecular formula C6H12O5. It is a substance widely present in plant polysaccharides, glycosides, plant gums and bacterial polysaccharides. Its sweetness is 33% of sucrose. It can be used to measure intestinal permeability.
