Chlorination (1-butyl-3-methylimidazole) is an imidazole salt that is soluble in acetone and alcohol organic solvents, and has high cellulose solubility. This substance can combine with glycerol to form an effective plasticizer, with high thermal stability, flexibility, and tensile strength.
