Application
- Used as wet strength agent of non sizing breathable paper, retention agent and beating agent in the process of papermaking, which can reduce the beating degree of pulp. Improve the dewatering capacity of paper. The dryness of the paper is increased by 1% – 4%. The production capacity is increased by 5% – 20%.

Package & Storage

Q: How to apply for samples?
A: Samples are charged at the unit price of the main product; the sample fee can be refunded after placing the main order. Samples will be dispatched within 1-2 working days. COA and SDS will be attached with the samples.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
A: The MOQ for liquid products is 25kg; long-term stable orders can be negotiated.
Q: How long is the delivery time?

For high-purity solid, low-monomer refined products, special molecular weight production: 7-10 working days.
Q: Why does the color change and the viscosity change after being stored for a long time? Can it still be used?
A: PEI absorbs carbon dioxide in the air. High temperature + open storage is prone to oxidation, viscosity increase, and amine activity decrease. Slight discoloration is recommended to be tested in a small scale first; obvious yellowing and crust formation are not recommended for use in high-end adhesion and color-fixation formulations. The core: samples must be stored in a sealed manner.
Q: Can it be mixed with anionic PAM and anionic additives?
A: They cannot be directly mixed. It will immediately form a flocculent precipitate and lose its effectiveness; for water treatment / papermaking sites, the pipelines and dosing must be separated; it can be first tested and compounded with non-ionic and weakly cationic additives.
Q: How to dilute it?
A: It is recommended to slowly add PEI to the stirred water, do not pour water into high-concentration PEI, as it is prone to agglomeration; water at a temperature of 20°C is better for dispersion, the dilution solution should be prepared immediately and used up, and it is not recommended to store the dilution solution for a long time.
Q: What is the pH? What is the applicable pH range?
A: The pH of 5% aqueous solution is approximately 10-12, strongly alkaline; it is protonated in acidic environments, and the cation activity is the strongest; in strongly acidic (pH < 3) conditions, it will affect stability. It is recommended that customers conduct a small-scale trial in the field in advance.
