Tri(propylene glycol) butyl ether (TPNB), CAS 55934-93-5, is a low odor, high flash point glycol ether solvent. It is widely used as coalescing agent for water-based latex paints, coatings, inks and industrial cleaners.

Application
1. Water-based coatings / latex paints: Tri(propylene glycol) butyl ether high-performance film-forming additive (main application), helps emulsion resins form a film at low temperatures, improves the smoothness, gloss and scrub resistance of the paint film.
2. Industrial cleaners, degreasers, paint removers: Dissolves oils, resins, and old paint films.
3. Inks, water-based adhesives, textile dye carrier solvents.
4. Leather treatment, pesticide additives.
