Application
1-Propoxy-2-propanol is mainly used as a cleaning agent. Its performance is similar to ethylene glycol butyl ether, but its odor toxicity is lower than the former, and it can be used as a substitute for ethylene glycol butyl ether. This product quickly evaporates and has excellent solubility for organic stains, making it suitable for household and industrial cleaning agents, degreasers, metal cleaners, and hard surface cleaners.
