1. Intermediate for surfactant synthesis (main applications)
1-octadecene (CAS 112-88-9) is processed through sulfonation and ethoxylation reactions to produce α-olefin sulfonates (AOS), non-ionic emulsifiers, and wetting agents; the downstream products are used in detergents, industrial cleaning, and the synthesis of some hair care ingredients.
2. High-molecular polyolefin industry
(1) Polyethylene copolymer monomers, modified PE materials, to enhance flexibility and low-temperature resistance;
(2) Synthesis of poly-α-olefin (PAO) base oils, high-end lubricant raw materials;
(3) Synthesis of special waxes, maleic anhydride copolymers, and other resin products.
3. Lubricants and metalworking additives
