Hexahydrophthalic anhydride CAS 85-42-7 is a white to quasi-white crystalline solid with low melting point, hygroscopic, miscible with a variety of organic solvents, soluble in acetone, ethanol, ethyl acetate, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, benzene, toluene, and slightly soluble in petroleum ether.
