Epoxydihydrolinalool, also known as 2-methyl-2-vinyl-5 -(A-hydroxy-isopropyl) tetrahydrofuran, has a strong, fresh sweet, woody and floral aroma, which exists in natural plants, and is safe and stable.Oxidized linalool appears in two distinct structural forms in natural raw materials.  The most common structural form is based on five “members”, similar to a furan ring structure.  The less common form is based on six “members”, similar to a pyran structure.
