Application
PVC heat stabilizer (Core Application)
1.Mechanism of action:
By capturing the HCl released during the PVC processing, the degradation of polymer chains can be inhibited, thereby extending the material’s lifespan.
Advantages:
Compared with lead salt stabilizers, it is less toxic and environmentally friendly, and complies with RoHS/REACH regulations.
It has high transparency and is suitable for transparent products (such as medical infusion tubes and food packaging films).
Dosage: 0.5-2% (The effect is better when combined with calcium-zinc stabilizer).
2.Organic synthesis catalyst
Esterification/condensation reaction
Catalytic synthesis of polyester resin and silicone rubber, with mild reaction conditions (80-120℃).
Case:
When producing plasticizers (such as phthalates), it can replace traditional sulfuric acid catalysts to reduce side reactions.
3.Glass surface treatment
Function:
It reacts with the hydroxyl groups on the glass surface to form a hydrophobic coating (used for anti-fogging of automotive glass and architectural glass).
Process: Spray with 0.1-0.5% solution and then heat and cure (150-200℃).
