2-Iminothiolane is a white to grayish-white powder and a thiolating reagent of primary amines. When the pH is between 7 and 10, the amidine bond reacts to form free thiol groups. 2-Iminothiolane is used for the preparation of disulfide and/or sulfide bond conjugates.

1.
