Применение
Erucic Acid is mainly used as an intermediate in fine chemicals to produce various surfactants, lubricants, plasticizers, emulsifiers, softeners, waterproofing agents, detergents, etc. Its derivative erucamide ([112-84-5]) is a lubricant for plastics; Mustard acid is hydrogenated to produce docosanoic acid, which is further processed to produce mountain acid.
