Tween 85 is an amber oily viscous liquid with a relative density of 1.00 ~ 1.05, a viscosity of 0.20 ~ 0.40Pa·s (25℃), a flash point of 321℃ and an HLB value of 11.0. Tween 85 is dissolved in rapeseed oil, lysofibroin, methanol, ethanol and other low carbon alcohols, aromatic solvent, ethyl acetate, most mineral oil, petroleum ether, acetone, dioxane, carbon tetrachloride, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, etc., dispersed in water.
