wat is van Glyceroltristearate met CAS 555-43-1?

Glyceryl-tristearaat wordt bereid door reactie van glycerine met stearinezuur in de aanwezigheid van een geschikte katalysator zoals aluminium oxide. Het komt ook voor in vele plantaardige en dierlijke vetten, zoals talg en cacao boter. Het is een witte, microfine kristallijn poeder. Het is oplosbaar in heet alcohol, benzeen en chloroform, zeer slecht oplosbaar in koud alcohol, ether en petroleumether, en niet oplosbaar in water.

Glyceryl Tristearate is a formulation aid, lubricant, and release agent, prepared by reacting stearic acid with glycerol in the presence of a suitable catalyst. The additive is used as a crystallization accelerator in cocoa products; a formulation aid in confections; a formulation in fats and oils; and a winterization and fractionation aid in fat and oil processing.
