Toepassing 

chlorendic anhydride zijn reactieve vlamvertrager voor de onverzadigde polyester, polyurethaan en epoxy harsen worden gebruikt als epoxy uitharden van de agenten. De epoxy producten weerstand goed van de warmte vervorming temperatuur van ongeveer 180 ℃.
