Calcium hydroxide CAS 1305-62-0, inorganic compound, chemical formula Ca(OH)2, commonly known as hydrated lime or slaked lime. Is a white powdery solid, added to water, in two layers, the upper aqueous solution is called clarified lime water, the lower suspension is called lime milk or lime Chemicalbook slurry.
