What is  MOPS CAS 1132-61-2?

MOPS (3-morpholinopropanesulfonic acido) è un buffer introdotto da una Buona et al. nel 1960. Si tratta di una strutturale analogico al MES. La sua struttura chimica contiene un morfolina anello. HEPES è una simile pH buffer composto che contiene un piperazina anello. Con un pKa di 7.20, MOPS è un ottimo tampone per molti sistemi biologici a pH neutro.È usato come un sintetico agente tampone sotto pH 7.5.
