Utilizzato in estere di produzione, può essere usato per fare additivi chimici come battericida, conservante, metallo, lubrificanti, additivi per benzina, bio-promoter, etc. Utilizzato nell'industria della gomma, può essere utilizzato come addensante e gelificante.
