Ammonium thiocyanate: A colourless, soluble crystalline compound,NH4NCS. Ammonium thiocyanate is made by theaction of hydrogen cyanide on ammoniumsulphide or from ammoniaand carbon disulphide in ethanol. Onheating, it turns into its isomerthiourea, SC(NH2)2.
