Anwendung

Mangandioxid wird hauptsächlich als depolarisierende agent in trockenen Batterien. Es ist eine gute decolorizer in der Glas-Industrie, die können oxidieren low-valent-Eisen-Salze in high-valent-Eisen-Salze, drehen die blau-grüne Farbe des Glases in eine schwach gelbe Farbe. In der Elektronik-Industrie bei der Herstellung von Mangan-Zink-Ferrit magnetische Materialien.
