Sodium oleate ist der Hauptbestandteil der Seife aus Olivenöl, etc. Es ist auch der Hauptbestandteil von Talg, Seife, und kann auch durch die Reaktion von Natriumhydroxid und ölsäure. Eine Verbindung aus hydrophoben Gruppe und hydrophile Gruppe C hat ausgezeichnete emulgieren power, penetration und Reinigungswirkung und hat eine gute Löslichkeit in heißem Wasser.
