Dioctyl terephthalate CAS 6422-86-2 is a colorless or slightly yellowish oily liquid. Almost insoluble in water, with a solubility of 0.4% in water at 20 ℃. Compared with the commonly used diisooctyl phthalate (DOP), Dioctyl terephthalate has the advantages of heat resistance, cold resistance, low volatility, anti extraction, good flexibility, and electrical insulation performance.
